Please remember that price is not always KING!.Service and doing a good job should preceed price but in the real world we are all looking to save money where we can. We do apprechiate this and we do understand that due to a lot of bad experiences most of us are sceptical about the quality of service we get and in fact WHAT we actually get for our money.Many factors affect price , but mainly it comes down to the quality of oil and the components fitted, and of course time taken to actually carry out your service. It has been known for people to knowingly cut corners and deliberately not fit for example the new air filter or plugs which impacts on the price offered up front, reducing labour times as well. Remember a reduction in price means something is being cut, whether that is the time and attention paid to the job or the quality of materials used. We could also conclude of course that the garage is just happy to make less money!!.
The standard practice of offering half price MOT’S or cheap servicing is usually used to get you to their garage. Understandably this practice will attract all of us looking to save a few £££ BUT THINK how much was the final bill?.Most garages only live off what work that can be generated from the car being with them, the few have a loyal customer base who always come back anyway as they trust them to do a honest job. SO the big question is will a cheap MOT lead to the prospect of paying more money out than was necessary?, if so actually how cheap was it!.For example did they find all your brakes needed doing ! or how about the classic statement, your shockers are leaking DOES THIS RING BELLS!!!. It should do it happens and best not to mention what is involved in some so called full services that are offered, hence the heading at the top. Finding a garage that you are happy with is not easy but can be done. We pride ourselves in offering you a quality service and a detailed list of what we actually do with sensible pricing, plus the opportunity to view or watch any work being carried out .
Generally in all things you get what you pay for hence my heading at the start. We believe in quoshing any fears you may have of work done or work due to be done by putting in place some simple checks. ALL COMPONENTS REMOVED FROM THE CAR WILL BE PLACED IN THE BOX THE NEW ITEM CAME FROM AND WILL BE IN THE CAR ON COLLECTION FOR INSPECTION. We only fit quality after market components and these are mainly sourced via UNIPART a well known motor factor,who also supply our oil.We also use independent motor factors who specialise in certain areas, in particular Cambelt kits and brakes.Deliveries of parts are usually on the hour so acquiring an unexpected needed part usually happens on the same day,( with only a few exceptions) therefore reducing the inconvience to you of having to leave the car another day.
